Will this screw my chances at becoming a police officer now?
I am at the final point of a 6 month hiring process all that is left is the polygraph and I’m in as I already signed an acceptance of probationary period of employment based on contingencies
Anyone two nights ago me and the wife had a pretty heated argument nothing physical but I guess it was loud enough to where I assume the neighbors called the police.
No one went to jail and no documentation was done on scene it was just recommended that one party leave (which I did) so things could cool down…
No I know the rules on domestic violence is pretty clear cut you got one on your record you are done… However like I said no one went to jail or any documentation was filed…
However there is still the phone call and the response to my residents… I am applying a few states away so I don’t know if a simple blotter entry will be a factor or not…

It is possible the call will show up on a police records check, but there was no arrest, so it should have little if any affect on your application.
