Who has been to the Harry Potter Exhibition in Chicago, IL?
I am going in a few weeks, and I want to know how much money you think I should bring for the gift shop. I don’t want anything you can buy online such as wands, posters, t-shirts, and I don’t need the books or movies.
I am interested in things like Buckbeak the stuffed animal and the Marauder’s Map.

The exhibition was amazing! I spent $43 on a Platform 9 3/4 wall hanging, poster with all the movie posters arranged that says “Harry Potter The Exhibition” on the bottom, and a chocolate frog.
The items there are definitely more expensive than not. There was a $400 Hogwarts castle set and a $250 chess set. I loved the snowglobes, but the smaller ones were $50 and the bigger ones were $60. There was a Marauders Map which was $50.
There are also little keychains and magnets which are anywhere between $6 to $10. It will be easy to spend all our money at this exhibition!! 
Just try to limit yourself to a certain amount ($100 top). I brought a debt card so there was a limit but that way nobdoy would steal it. $75 seems to be a reasonable limit. This way you’ll have more than enough if necessary, but you won’t spend all your savings.
